Account Executive
Job Responsibilities
- To perform monthly bank transactions, petty cash management, payment approval verification and supporting document checking.
- To check and verify payment and collection entries recorded in the system before posting to GL vouchers.
- To carry out monthly fixed asset accounting and record keeping.
- To perform the Purchase GL invoices and preparation for e-Invoicing;
- To monitor sales invoices issued by the Sales Department and prepare corresponding e-invoices.
- To maintain and reconcile account balances to match billing statements and GL figures.
- To assist in preparing Sales & Service Tax reports for submission.
- To assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management accounting reports.
- Assists with any other task or work requirements when required.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role, ideally within a small practice or professional services environment
- Preferably, manufacturing accounts with 1 year of working experience in accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and Ledger.
- Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
