Account Executive

Job Responsibilities

  1. To perform monthly bank transactions, petty cash management, payment approval verification and supporting document checking.
  2. To check and verify payment and collection entries recorded in the system before posting to GL vouchers.
  3. To carry out monthly fixed asset accounting and record keeping.
  4. To perform the Purchase GL invoices and preparation for e-Invoicing;
  5. To monitor sales invoices issued by the Sales Department and prepare corresponding e-invoices.
  6. To maintain and reconcile account balances to match billing statements and GL figures.
  7. To assist in preparing Sales & Service Tax reports for submission.
  8. To assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management accounting reports.
  9. Assists with any other task or work requirements when required.

Job Requirement

  1. Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role, ideally within a small practice or professional services environment
  2. Preferably, manufacturing accounts with 1 year of working experience in accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and Ledger.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
