Process Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and monitor key performance indicators (KPls)
- Participate in the trial production, testing, and review of new formulations and materials. Follow up on the trial results for the new material.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve manufacturing processes, reduce defect rates, lower customer complaints, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production equipment issues and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Assist in the verification and validation of new equipment and processes.
- Responsible for preparing and implementing technical and process-related documents.
- Provide technical guidance and training to the related department.
- Assist in product registration.
Job Requirement
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a preference for majors in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the manufacturing industry, preferably in Extrusion, Injection Molding Processes, Automation Equipment, Commissioning of new equipment, etc.
- Strong understanding of process engineering principles, including process design, optimisation, and control
- Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects from concept to implementation.
