Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  2. Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and monitor key performance indicators (KPls)
  3. Participate in the trial production, testing, and review of new formulations and materials. Follow up on the trial results for the new material.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve manufacturing processes, reduce defect rates, lower customer complaints, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve production equipment issues and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  6. Assist in the verification and validation of new equipment and processes.
  7. Responsible for preparing and implementing technical and process-related documents.
  8. Provide technical guidance and training to the related department.
  9. Assist in product registration.

Job Requirement

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a preference for majors in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the manufacturing industry, preferably in Extrusion, Injection Molding Processes, Automation Equipment, Commissioning of new equipment, etc.
  3. Strong understanding of process engineering principles, including process design, optimisation, and control
  4. Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis techniques
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  6. Ability to work independently and lead projects from concept to implementation.
